Handpan Orchestra unites handpan musicians through original compositions, covers, and live collaborations. The project celebrates sound, rhythm, and shared inspiration — creating moments of harmony, presence, and musical connection.
The brand needed to visually represent the unique essence of the handpan — an instrument that’s both meditative and expressive. The identity had to reflect the handmade, acoustic nature of the music, while also being flexible enough for live events, digital promotion, and community building.
I focused on capturing the balance between craft and resonance — a brand that feels intentional, warm, and atmospheric. The circular form of the instrument became the base for the logo mark, while typography and color brought in emotional depth and visual clarity.
The brand design features a circular logo system inspired by the shape and symmetry of the handpan. The logomark integrates the “O” from Orchestra into the instrument’s form, symbolizing unity, rhythm, and resonance. A unique display typeface reflects the handcrafted nature of the instrument, balanced by a clean sans-serif for clarity. The deep blue and warm accent palette captures both calm and vibrancy — echoing the emotional range of the music.
